2025 awards season calendar: Save the date for the Oscars, SAG and more

Awards season is here and Us Weekly save the date for the Oscars, Grammys and all major ceremonies in 2025.

First up are the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards in January, which have plenty of nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (Substance), Timothée Chalamet (A complete unknown) and Cynthia Erivo (Evil). Emily Perezin the main role Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomezis one of the most nominated films at both awards ceremonies, earning 10 nominations at the Globes and another 10 nominations at the Critics Choice Awards.

That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to awards season. The SAG Awards, Oscars and more will honor movies, while the Grammys will bring together the biggest names in music. Check out the dates, hosts and nominations for 2025's biggest awards below:

January 5: Golden Globe Awards

February 2: Grammy Awards

In response to the Los Angeles fires, the Recording Academy sent a notice to members on January 13 that the Grammy Awards will be a fundraising event. “Working closely with local authorities to ensure public safety and responsible use of area resources, the 67th CBS Grammy Awards on February 2nd will go ahead as planned,” the letter said. “However, this year's show will have a new sense of purpose: raising additional funds for wildfire relief and honoring the courage and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”

February 7: Critics Choice Awards

Days before the Critics Choice Awards were scheduled to take place on January 12, the ceremony was moved to January 26 and then moved back to February 7 due to The fires in Los Angeles. “This ongoing tragedy has already deeply affected our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all those affected,” CEO Joe Berlin noted in the notice.

The 2025 Critics Choice Awards will go ahead despite multiple postponements due to the Los Angeles wildfires. The annual awards ceremony was originally scheduled for Jan. 12, but was pushed back to Jan. 26 after Santa Ana winds sparked several wildfires that spread across the greater Los Angeles area. February 16: BAFTA Film Awards

After her announcement the cancer is officially in remission, Princess Kate Middleton expected to make him first red carpet appearance in over a year at the 2025 BAFTAs. (Prince William is the president of a non-profit arts organization.)

February 22: Film Independent Spirit Awards

The SAG Awards will return to Netflix for the show's 2025 awards show.
