Colman Domingo is also celebrating his Oscar nomination this morning.
With today's nomination, he follows in the footsteps of Denzel Washington in receiving two consecutive Academy Award nominations for Best Actor. Colman was nominated for Rustin last year and is up for Best Actor this year for Sing Sing.
Speaking of Denzel, some movie fans think he was one of the biggest Oscar snubs this year for his portrayal of Macrinus in Ridley Scott's film. Gladiator II. Deadline called it a “crime,” and others agree.
