In typical 50 Cent fashion, he responds to the viral negative review of his Las Vegas residency with his signature humor.

Las Vegas residencies are one of the best times to visit Sin City and escape from the real world with a touch of relaxation. Usher and Adele are just a few of the acts that have dominated live music in Vegas over the past few years. When 50 Cent announced he would kick off 2025 with a short residency in Las Vegas, tickets flew away.

Early in the residency, a wildly popular content creator from Las Vegas blew 50 for her experience during her show.

“50 Cent's Las Vegas residency might be the worst show ever in Vegas,” she said in a voiceover of her video review shared on Instagram. “The room was almost full and people seemed excited, but take a minute to listen and then I'll tell you why I found it horrible.”

Las Vegas reviewer Jennifer Gay explained that she didn't feel the '50s stage presence, but also shared that he played for over an hour.

“The sound in the room was terrible and the fashionable men were louder than him during the entire show,” she continued. “He only spoke once to say he was doing six shows, and then he was done. He played 84 minutes and then left the stage. It really felt like he didn't want to be there. These were not cheap seats.

50 cents heard the chatter and, during his final performance, decided to address the criticism while sprinkling in a little humor for the crowd.

“You were supposed to say at 50 that you’re still doing this shit,” he said, doing his typical onstage hand gesture. “What were you thinking, I’m going to be here rollerblading like Usher?” he asked. “I saw some shit, Chris Brown was flying in Africa. I don't have any records that require me to fly to Africa.

It seems that he was not jaded by this criticism. After all, you can't please everyone, and besides, he still got his salary back. Perhaps there was a disconnect as to what to expect from a rap show, with the bar being set so high by other artists in the city.

However, 90 minutes of 50 Cent Classic alone is reason enough to still attend the show if you can make it.
