Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separate toilets but a double shower

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are the latest celebrity couple to take us into the bathroom.

The 57-year-old actress offered insight into her marriage to Urban, 57, when asked if she sings in the shower. “I do,” she said In the magazine in an interview published on Friday, January 3. “I can also hear Keith singing in the shower and I'll hear his new songs take shape.”

Kidman elaborated on her bathroom setup. “We have a double shower,” she added. “The Double Headed Shower: The Key to a Successful Marriage. Separate chests of drawers and a double-head shower!”

A couple who have been married since 2006are not the only ones who have discussed their bathroom setup. Daryl Sabara and Meghan Trainor made headlines when they discussed the special feature they had installed in their home.

“We just got a new house and started construction,” on Why Aren't You Dating Me? Traynor, 31, said. Podcast in October 2021. “No one knows this but we had one toilet in our bathroom and many times in the middle of the night when we are with the baby we have to pee at the same time. So I asked, 'Can we please put two toilets next to each other?'”

She added: “We have two toilets next to each other and we've only pooped together twice. We pee a lot at the same time.”

Trainor later defended herself when discussing the duo's bathroom habits. “I thought somebody might care, I didn't think it would spread the way it did — to the point where it would affect our relationship,” she said on a July 2022 episode of the “Pretty Basic” podcast. “Daryl said, 'You have to stop.' I said 'Why? People love it!''

Despite moving homeTrainor and Sabara, 32, still found a way to keep the tradition alive.

“We're moving into a new house and it has a toilet that faces this way and a bidet across from it,” Trainor, 30, said on the July 2024 episode. Dax ShepardThe Armchair Expert Podcast. “So I have to make this (bidet) toilet. So it's going to be a little different, but it's a narrower bathroom, so we're going to be close. Knees to knees. And that's better, I want to see him.

The singer remembered how the setup works began, adding, “When we first got there, there was, like, an old-school bidet, and I thought, 'We're not going to use that.' I thought, “I have an extra toilet, let's just put it next to it,” and my plumber laughed at me. And I said, 'What's so funny, my friend? Get up! Like, start doing it.''

According to Trainor, their second toilet was then added for practical reasons.

“Here's why we did it. Because we have little kids, we get up every hour at a certain hour, and this dude pees like a girl, so I was like, 'Get off, I have to pee,'” she recalled. “Sometimes if I'm peeing and he has to go, I'll spread my legs and say, 'Go in!' And he'll say, 'No, I'm not.' There's a shower, you know. Then I solved this crime and I was like: “We'll pee at the same time, in our own bowls.”

She continued, “Oh, (but) I don't like him pooping next to me. I tell him that. I say, 'You know you don't have to.' We just pee. We're not s-tin'. You, You guys thought it was poop, didn't you?
