Kate Middleton's alma mater, Marlborough College, is expected to be her school of choice Prince Williamchildren, especially Prince George.

After a year full of challenges, Prince William and Kate Middleton also plan to spoil their children with fun surprises this year.

According to insiders, Kate's alma mater, Marlborough, is likely to be the school of choice for all three of her children.

Talking to Daily maila source at the prestigious Wiltshire school, which charges £59,000 ($73,000) a year, revealed that discussions have moved on to planning where 11-year-old Prince George will live when he is the first to study.

Set on 286 acres, Marlborough College offers six boys' houses, six girls' houses and four halls of residence on campus and in the nearby town.

According to sources, George is likely to be placed in C1 House, an all-boys residence at the College Court. It is being considered for its proximity to the main school buildings and increased security.

The source further noted that the Prince and Princess of Wales have been discussing George's future school in recent weeks.

The insider shared: “The parents haven't spoken about anything else and the debate has really heated up in recent weeks, but safety is clearly a big focus. Prince George will have to be accommodated 'at home' – these are houses in the neighborhood. The school's top four.”

They added: “The 'outside houses' are scattered along Bath Road and pose a greater safety risk as they are just large houses on their own and involve a lot more walking, which is the downside of Marlborough.”

Last month, George joined his father Prince William in making his first appearance at a celebratory football game, delighting the crowd at the annual pre-Christmas game.

William and George were on the same team in the match, which is a long-standing tradition between the staff of Sandringham Manor and the local villagers.
