Taylor Swift's ex Joe Alvin has moved on from their romance

Alvina and Swift started dating in 2016 but broke up in 2023. The former lovebirds have since moved on to new relationships after their split.

However, people are still discussing their romance, which Alvin seems to be fed up with and wants to end.

Alvin spoke to The Guardian in an interview published on Sunday and opened up about his relationship with Swift and its aftermath.

The English actor hasn't always liked being in the limelight, but his relationship with the beloved American singer meant he couldn't always hide.

When asked if he was afraid that meeting Swift would overshadow his career, Alvin said: “I've tried to focus only on what I can control. And from the beginning I've tried to focus on the things that are important to me: friends, family, work, of course.”

Alvin added: “So the noise outside, I think I've done what a lot of people who are in the public eye do, which is try to ignore it, and if it starts to affect you and your behavior, you're living from the outside in . And then you're pretty confused.”

During the interview, Alvin was asked if he wanted to move on from the gossip surrounding his and Swift's romance.

He concluded: “So it's about other people. That's how I feel.”
