Ariana Grande says she's been 'clean' of beauty injections for 4 years

Ariana Grande has clarified her recent comment that beauty injections have been the secret to her youthful appearance.

The 31-year-old actress and singer was recently honored with the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Accepting the award, she thanked “Botox and Juvederm” for her appearance.

Ariana Grande has now revealed that she has been “four years clean” from such beauty injections.

Grande proudly announced that she is “clean” of beauty injections four years after her Botox tease.

The “7 Rings” singer accepted the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday and jokingly attributed her appearance to “Botox and Juvederm.”

However, in a conversation with Entertainment tonight after her acceptance speech, she clarified: “I'm still clean, I'm still clean, but when I start going again (for injections), I'll let you know.”

Grande emphasized, “I mean it. I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder. As a beauty founder, I think it's important to be transparent.”

“But I love it and I support it. But I've been clean for four years. You see the lines? I love them,” she said of her natural skin.

The singer joked about being a “bit of a fading star”

During her Rising Star acceptance speech, Grande discussed what the honor meant to her and laughed at herself, saying she thinks she'll be considered “a bit of a fading star” instead.

“You don't know how much this means to me,” said Grande, who turned heads at the event in an elegant satin white dress. People magazine.

She added: “I think I'm going to hear 'a little wilting star' or 'a drooping star' now, so thank you.”

During the event, the pop star also praised Jennifer Coolidge, who presented her with the award. She called Kudz a “comedic genius whose brilliance has inspired (her) throughout her life.”

Grande then thanked “Wicked” director John M. Chu, whom she described as her “fearless leader,” and her co-star Cynthia Erivo, whom she called her “awesome sister.”

The Botox comment comes months after Grande revealed the cosmetic procedures she's ever received during a polygraph interview Vanity Fair with his “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo.

When asked to confirm whether she ever got a job with her nose and breasts, she denied it, and a polygraph examiner confirmed she was telling the truth.

When asked if she's ever had a facelift, the “Into You” singer said: “No, not yet. I'm open.”

However, Grande admitted that she had gotten fillers and Botox in the past “in different places,” but said she stopped “like four years ago.”

She was then asked if she had ever gotten a Brazilian butt lift, which she found hilarious, telling the interviewer: “Get the devil out of here.”

“Yeah,” she joked, prompting the polygraph examiner to clarify, “She's delusional.”

The former Nickelodeon child star said she would never win the BBL because it “wouldn't suit her”. She added that she “doesn't think it's any of my business, and I'm fine with that, you know?”

Additionally, she denied receiving a “fox eye lift” and said she didn't know what it was until she was accused of it.

“I discovered it through people who thought I was doing it, and I said thank you,” she noted.

The “Thank U, Next” singer received the Rising Star Award for her portrayal of Glinda the Good in the movie “Wicked”.

She explained that the opportunity to star in the film was “not only the honor of my life”, but also “felt like a homecoming”.

“For those of you who don't know, I started doing stand-up comedy. My first professional gig was in our living room in Boca Raton, Florida, (to entertain) my grandparents. I was 4 years old and my mom gave me $5,” said Grande.

She then explained how comedy shaped her life: “I learned early on that laughter was one of our greatest escapes, and I remember the infectious effect it had not only on the people in my life, but how it fed me in return.”

“And for the last 10 years, when I was really focused on music, I really missed that feeling. So this really feels like the beginning of a new chapter,” Grande added.

The singer was recognized as an “iconic global performer”

Festival chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi was also moved with pride that Grande won the award, saying it was “the beginning of many accolades” she would receive in her career.

He said: “Ariana Grande is an iconic global performer who has made a seamless transition to film in her first major leading role, proving herself to be a versatile and undeniable talent.”

“This role will surely be the beginning of the many accolades she will receive in her acting career,” he added.

Grande has also been nominated for Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards for her supporting role in the musical fantasy film.

Wicked is based on the 1995 book by Gregory Maguire, which was later turned into a three-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical in 2003.

The last part of the film will hit theaters in November 2025.
