Golden Globes 2025: Kathy Bates tears up her speech after losing to Anna Sawai from “Shōgun”
For some celebrities, the party didn't stop at the 2025 Golden Globes.
In fact, a few of the winners at the annual ceremony, which took place on January 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, made sure to dance the night away after taking home a trophy for their performances. (For a look at all the winners, head here.)
One of those coveted winners included Zoe Saldanawho won Best Supporting Actress for her work in Emilie Pérez. And the post-party festivities are well-deserved, given her moving speech.
“My heart is full of gratitude,” she said as she accepted her award on stage, in tears. “My family. My mother is here, my sisters, my mother, my husband and my sons. I love you. I love you. You are everything.”
But of course she wasn't the only winner in the building. Also celebrating her first Golden Globes win, ShogunIt is Anna Sawaiwho won the award for Best Actress in a Drama Television Series, in addition to her colleagues' victories Tadanobu Asano And Hiroyuki Sanada respectively in the Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor categories.
