Lawyers for Diddy's accusers hug Nicky Glazer for jokes that have gone viral

Nikki Glasser has received criticism from Sean “Diddy” Combs attorneys for the accusers after she joked about the injured rapper's infamous partying during her Golden Globes monologue.

One attorney noted that jokes like the one Glaser shared at the ceremony are “why so many victims of sexual assault never come forward and report their abuse.”

Nikki Glasser was previously called out by viewers watching the Golden Globes, with many describing her joke as “pathetic” and “horribly messed up.”

Glazer is still facing backlash over her Diddy “Freak Off” joke, this time from two attorneys representing several of the rapper's accusers.

According to TMZattorney Ariel Mitchell criticized the Golden Globes host, saying she was surprised a stand-up comic would make such remarks despite Glazer being a woman.

“Shining light on this ugly situation is exactly why so many victims of sexual assault never come forward and report their abuse,” said Mitchell, who represents one of the alleged victims, Ashley Parham.

Parham claimed that Diddy violently gang-raped her in revenge for the distance she expressed over the rapper's alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur's murder.

Meanwhile, Tyrone Blackburn, another attorney who represents several of Diddy's accusers, expressed his disappointment with Glaser, saying he had expected her to be able to “find humor that doesn't take into account drug use and rape.”

Tyrone Blackburn is representing Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who claimed Diddy forcibly touched him while working on his 2023 album.

Despite the fact that Glaser was hosting the Golden Globes for the first time, she did not hold back in her monologue at the opening of the event, telling her jokes.

After cracking a few jokes about the other attendees, Glazer turned her attention to actress Zendaya, who she praised for her role in the movie Challengers.

“Zendaya is here — Zendaya, you were incredible in the dune. Oh my God, I woke up to everyone. And the Challengers, girl? Oh my God, that was so good,” she said. Daily mail.

She then casually made a joke about Diddy's sex scandal before doubling down in response to the audience's reaction.

“This movie was more sexually charged than Diddy's credit card,” Glaser continued, “I'm sorry, I'm upset too. The after-party won't be as good this year. But we've got to move on… The Stanley Tucci freak-off doesn't have the same ring. This year without baby oil, just a lot of olive oil.”

On social networks, viewers who had watched the ceremony criticized Glaser for making light of such a sensitive topic.

One user said: “The problem with these Diddy jokes is that (people) are making fun of the abusers but it's actually making fun of the abusers what the victims went through. He abused so many including children Nicky Glaser is already painfully unfunny but it's pathetic and rude.

Another commented: “Ok, Nicky Glaser should seriously be banned from receiving awards like this for such a horribly WRONG joke. It's completely insensitive to the victims of SA who have had such horrible experiences with this vile man.”

Another viewer wrote: “I didn't know who Nikki Glaser was before today, I never want to hear from her again, hope this Diddy joke kills any attitude he has.”

Diddy's next court appearance is expected on March 17. The subject of the hearing remains unclear, but it is not expected to be a bail hearing as the rapper had previously withdrawn his bail appeal.

The exit comes after the rapper was denied bail for the third time, which reportedly caused him to have a meltdown during the holiday.

He is currently in custody pending his federal trial on May 5, 2025, where he will be tried on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

If he is ultimately convicted of the sex crime charges, he could face up to life in prison if the maximum sentence is imposed.

Diddy had a less-than-luxurious Christmas and New Year's in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.

It's a stark contrast to the usually lavish meals the music mogul was used to.

On New Year's Day, Diddy ate either a chicken sandwich or a chickpea burger with pinto beans and rice, corn and mayo.

The report about his festive meals came after it was revealed the rapper had looked “amazingly thinner” and “grayer” during his latest court appearance.
