The couple's statement included a photo of Marissa in her hospital bed with Trevor, 25, sitting next to her. Their daughter rested between them as they smiled for the camera.
Marisa donned a cozy black pajama set while the footballer rocked a 'Girl Dad' baseball cap for the occasion. Trevor also wore a wrist brace when he had shoulder surgery to repair an AC joint injury last month. Their little one looked cute in a white brief.

Marissa's post also included pictures of her and Trevor bringing their little one home. In one photo, Trevor carried his daughter out with his right arm as she was secured in her car seat.
When the family of three returned to their home, Marissa also shared a photo of her sleeping Shay while sitting by a window overlooking their backyard.
Trevor and Marissa are high school sweethearts who started dating in 2016. The two got engaged after dating for four years. They tied the knot in April 2021. In June 2024, Marisa discovered it she was pregnant with her and Trevor's first child.

A month after Marissa and Trevor found out they were expecting a baby girl. The two threw an ice cream themed sex reveal party with their closest friends and family.

Almost a week before welcoming Shay, Marissa took Instagram to judge how excited she was to meet her little one as her due date approached.
