Over the weekend, the sports media world was stunned by a lawsuit against FS1 personalities Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor.
The complaint — filed by a hairstylist named Noushin Faraji, who worked at Fox Sports from 2012 to 2023 — alleges that Bayless sexually harassed her in the workplace and offered her $1.5 million for sex.
Taylor is also named as a defendant, as Faraji alleges the host told her to “get over it” when she complained about Bayliss' advances.
Faraji also claims in the suit that Taylor used sexual favors to advance his career.
Specifically, the suit alleges that Taylor slept with Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon and co-host Emmanuel Acho as part of his efforts to climb the corporate ladder (per News week).
Joy Taylor-Emmanuel Acho affair allegations spark controversy
Acho is a former NFL linebacker who has since made a name for himself as an author and sports expert.
In the world of celebrity gossip, he is probably best known for serving as acting host of The bachelorette after Chris Harrison was fired.
Now, FS1 viewers are scrutinizing Acho's social media accounts for clues about his alleged affair with Taylor.
What they found were a number of messages in which the 34-year-old praised Taylor effusively.
According to a new report from Daily Mailseveral clips went viral, with commenters proclaiming that Acho's giddy esteem for his co-star “it all makes sense now.”
“Truly, in the sports industry, I don't know anyone more impressive – in every way, in every form – than the one and only Joy Taylor,” Acho remarked in a clip, taken from her show FS1, Talk.
In another video, which was mocked reposted by sports journalist Jason WhitlockAcho continued to gush out of Taylor.
“I have to take a moment to shout out my co-host Joy Taylor. A woman. A black woman. Daily show. Sporty. Do you all realize how difficult it is to get into the position she is in? he said.
“So often misogyny and sexism is rampant in sports and we don't even care about what women have to say in sports. But Joy isn't just in the position of being a black woman on television. But as an opinionist,” Acho continued.
“So it's not just about asking people what they think, but also about giving them their own unique and distinct point of view. It's hard to do, and Joy, you did it, so congratulations, I look forward to working with you.
Whitlock joked that the clip “looks a little different now.” According to the EmailAcho has since deleted the post from her Instagram page.
Neither Bayless, Taylor, nor Acho have publicly responded to Faraji's allegations.
We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
