Once again, Kanye West found himself on Instagram calling out his former business partner, Adidas, over allegedly shady search engine tactics.
In October 2022, Adidas sent shockwaves through the sneaker world after ending its partnership with Kanye West after Kanye went on multiple platforms spewing anti-Semitic arguments about the Red Pill. It seemed unexpected at the time, but Kanye had previously hinted that the relationship had bitter long before the separation.
Although Adidas restocked the Yeezys and had them out of fashion for two years, Ye remained silent on the brand's allegedly questionable moves.
According to ComplexYe's silence ended last night in a lengthy Instagram post.
“When you search for Yeezy.com on Google, the adidas site comes before the Yeezy site. Adidas members Stop doing this Stop doing your moves to hold me back Our partnership is over,” Ye wrote on Instagram.
“You are a 60 billion dollar company that froze my accounts. Now I'm back on my feet (no pun intended) and I'm not going to stand for this (no pun intended), I did a job phenomenal for you and because I stood up for myself, you all tried to intimidate and oppress me, everyone remembers that I had major problems with adidas because of design theft and oppression before “the tweet”.
Kanye is referencing Google search results for his Yeezy brand and apparently doesn't seem to agree with the fact that his website comes in second directly behind Adidas.
Yeezy then blasted former Fear of God collaborator and creator Jerry Lorenzo for working with Adidas.
“Side note, you all know Jerry was corny and disloyal for working with Adidas after the way they handled things,” Ye said, expressing frustration with Lorenzo's choice of Adidas.
“I always showed up to his show which was a copy of my Hollywood bowling show as the so-called biggest man, but I'll never do that for anyone again. It's Yeezy above all else. Everyone those who ever took a photo next to me who had their own clothing lines and agendas, everyone knows they were acting like they were my friends to promote their fake Yeezy lines They never really wanted to. work for the king.
In the post, Kanye also alleges that people used him to get rich and were happy when he failed to achieve his goals. He proclaimed “NO MORE HUGS” in 2025 before giving in Yeezy.com raised $100 million in six months.
Kanye's latest vision for his website is to make all of his clothing $20, regardless of the item. Love or hate Kanye, he's always pushing the boundaries, and if he can keep fashion at $20, the world will have to adapt to his rules once again.
