“That's how it all went down,” Jax wrote in the caption of a 2021 Instagram photo of himself and an executive producer Alex Baskin. “About two years after I left the VanderpumpI decided it was time to get back into TV, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.

“What if we put on a show”the valley' deals with our lives after that Vanderpump,” Jax reminded. “It's raising families, getting married, living in the suburbs and so on. Addressing more questions that I think the audience might relate to.

Jax continued: “So one very cold evening I told the girls and decided to meet (Alex) at the hotel, we both love @hotel_amarano and I wanted to propose this idea to him. “This (photo) was on the night of November 11, 2021 —Ryan and I'm doing a show/replay at one of our favorite places @casavegarestaurant.

“The work we put into it was insane,” Jax admitted. “But we also learned a lot about what it takes and how hard it is to start a successful show. And now it's 2025 and we have season 2.Valley“on the horizon.”

When a fan asked Lisa Vanderpump producer role, Jax did not hold. “It's a spin-off, so she's always going to get the credit — that's the way television works,” he explained. “She has no part of the show.”

Topic about Lala Kent and Scheana Shay came up when another fan suggested they be turned off Valley. Jax replied thoughtfully, acknowledging their talents. “I thought so Lala and Scheana are amazing at what they do,” he said.

“To be honest, we're keeping the same formula as Vanderpump. Try to make the show as authentic as possible, and if that means having episodes with cast members from past and present, so be it. That's the beauty of holding Vanderpump/Valley alive to the fans enjoying the show.

One fan questioned whether the idea of Valley was in the works long before, especially after Stassi Schroeder wedding.

Jax confirmed that although it was once only an idea, it did not appear until later. “Unfortunately, it was just talk at the time,” he admitted. “But nothing came of it until later.”

How Valley is gearing up for its second season, that's for sure Jax is proud of the work he has done to bring this project to fruition despite the drama and conflicting opinions about the show and its cast.
