The 32-year-old's surgery went without complications and Jett shared that the doctor was “cautiously optimistic.” And to cheer his wife up during her recovery, he gave her “some of her favorite things,” including his “iconic Pookie salad” from Chick-Fil-A and a bouquet of four dozen white roses.
“Baby, these are the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” Campbell said, shedding tears as she handed her the flower arrangement. “I really didn’t mean to cry, you’re just the best.”
But for Jett, it was a small way to bring him comfort in this scary situation.
“I mean, I'm so proud of you and your courage and your strength before the surgery,” Jett explained. “You are simply remarkable, and I truly admire and cherish your faith that everything will work out. You are simply the best person I know.”
