Nikki Garcia makes her first red carpet appearance since her breakup with Artem Chigvintsev
While he briefly came out of retirement for an appearance on Netflix WWE Raw debut on January 6, the former professional wrestler chose to appear under her ring name, Nikki Bellaafter retiring the nickname in 2023.
“When I got the invitation, I was obviously super excited,” Nikki told her twin sister. Brie Garcia in the January 8 episode of The Nikki and Brie show podcast. “I was like, ‘Listen, I want to be Nikki Bella. I don't want to come in and look like I'm trying really hard. I just want to be effortlessly myself.
The 41-year-old, who shares his son Mateo4 years, with an ex-husband Artem Chigvintsevalso revealed how she chose her wardrobe and color palette for the occasion, stating that she wanted something “sporty, but sexy, but Nikki Bella, so it has to be red.”
Nikki and Brie announced their retirement from wrestling – as well as their decision to use their legal names – in 2023, revealing the origin of their ring names.
