Jhene Aiko walks out on critics after losing her home in a Los Angeles fire

Jane Aiko has joined the list of stars who have shared the heartbreaking news that the California wildfires destroyed her home. Paris HiltonBilly Crystal and Many Moore have already shared their heartache over losing their homes in the Palisades fire. However, Jhene Aiko wasn't just talking about her loss. She also called out trolls for tearing down her situation and assuming her wealth is equivalent to “Paris Hilton's money.”

The Shade Room noticed that the “Stay Ready” singer posted a comment under a post calling out people who glossed over her loss due to her celebrity status.

“The fact that some of you think I have Paris Hilton's money is wild. I don't, but I have a big loving family that is more precious than anything,” Aiko wrote.

Jene also shared how she lost her house in a fire in second grade and had to deal with kids clowning around thinking she came from money. She added that she is grateful to be in a better place now than she was then.

“But they thought we were rich because we had love! My family and our friends got together and made sure that my mom and I and my siblings had at least 1 new tracksuit and 1 new pair of shoes the very next day. I I am lucky to be in a better situation than I was then. I pray that I can have as much grace as my mother did at that time. I pray that you all stay safe, God bless,” Aiko continued.

Jene is sending prayers to those affected by the fires

Before addressing the haters, Aiko shared prayers for all those affected by the fires. She expressed her heavy heart as she revealed that she and her children lost everything and now have to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

“Me and my children's house is gone. burned to the ground with all our belongings inside. The Lord has mercy. thank you for still being with each other. starting from scratch. my heart is so heavy” wrote the “Bed Peace” singer.
