ABC announced Wednesday, Jan. 8, that America's most-watched daytime network talk show will expand to weekends with a new streaming series titled Weekend view.

Premiering on Saturday, January 11, the 30-minute show will be hosted by the talk show's Friday panel, including a moderator. Cheers Behar and cohosts Sunny Hostin, Sarah Hynes, Alice Farr Griffin and Ana Navarro.

Whoopi Goldberg will continue to moderate “Hot Topics”. The view From Monday to Thursday.

According to ABC, Weekend view will focus on the biggest stories in entertainment and trending news that will fill social media feeds.

With no brand new “Hot Topics” to explore during the week, the ladies promise to share their unique topics with their candor and humor.

“In addition to being the most-watched linear season in four years, The view is to succeed in meeting viewers wherever they get their content,” executive producer Brian Teta the statement said. “From podcast to YouTube and now with new exclusive streaming content on Weekend ABC News Live.”

While The view has achieved ratings success by discussing politics, Weekend view it is expected to take a lighter approach with its subjects.

“We follow what we've seen successfully on ABC News Live on the weekends” Karina Gilfordsaid Senior Vice President of Digital Media, ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks Diversity in an interview published on January 8. “On Saturdays and Sundays, the feeling is easier. They still cover all the stories of the week, but in a slightly different tone. So it will be the same format of the show. Fans from The view might be able to see the hosts discuss their favorite celebrities.

Hostina, 56, has voiced her support in previous episodes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopezs a love story while Navarro, 53, has revealed her friendship with stars such as Eva Longoria and Gloria Estefan.

As for Farrah Griffin, 35, she's a self-proclaimed Swiftie who loves reality TV. Her recent favorite shows include The Real Housewives from Beverly Hills and Dancing with the stars.

Weekend view streams on ABC News Now Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. ET and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. ET.
