Written and directed by Damn rap! alums Syreeta Singleton and Lawrence Lamont, the zany film features an all-star cast starring Katt Williams while marking a historic collaboration between Issa Rae's HOORAE production company and various creatives powered by Sony Pictures' CoCre lab.
“(Singleton) is one of my favorite writers because there is such a display of friendship and black women (in her work),” said Rae, credited as the film's producer.
“She has a knack for creating people that I know, that I know, and putting them in situations that I or my friends have been in, and they are just real while still being intelligently written. This particular project, as soon as I read it, I was like, “Yeah, that's kind of a woman.” Friday.' But it’s its own unique story that will stand on its own.
This week's thirst trap compilation also features Latto providing heat as well as Melyssa Ford and Raven Tracy giving what needs to be given.
