Less than a week after the Spiderman the actress made her debut a 5 carat diamond ring on his left ring finger Golden Globes 2025Tom's father Dominic Holland confirmed the couple's engagementsharing some parts about this special dayincluding one important detail.
“Tom, as you know, was incredibly well prepared,” Dominic wrote in a Patreon post on January 10, noting that not only had Tom purchased the ring, but he had spoken with Zendaya's father, Ambassador Ajamu Colemanand “got permission to propose to his daughter.”
“Tom had it all planned out,” his father added. “When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…”
Dominic compared Tom's preparedness to his own lack of preparedness when he proposed to Tom's mother, Nikki Holland, in 1993, joking: “was woefully unprepared, almost like I wasn't taking it seriously,” because he hadn't spoken to his family or even received a ring.
