Bill Hader briefly took on a different type of role on television.
Amid wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area, the Saturday evening live an elder surprised a local news crew covering the aftermath of the natural disaster.
“A resident trying to gain access approached the news van like he was part of our team, he wanted to help cover and ride with us,” the ABC7 reporter said. Josh Haskell wrote in an article on X (formerly Twitter) January 10. “Then he pulled down his mask, smiled and it was Bill Hader!” »
The reporter also shared a photo of the Emmy winner, who is dating Beef star Ali Wong— displaying a peace sign while donning a protective mask, adding that Bill “couldn't have been nicer” and describing the encounter as “only a Los Angeles moment.”
Amid the current crisis, more and more stars are finding ways to offer their support. In a statement on their website, Prince Harry And Meghan Markle gave a list of resources to help those affected by the fires and encouraged others to lend a hand in any way they can.
“If a friend, loved one or pet needs to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, do so,” the statement said. “And be sure to check with disabled or elderly neighbors to see if they need help evacuating.”
