Katie Maloney is in mourning.
THE Vanderpump Rules an elder shared that her father Richard Maloney died on January 5.
“I feel like I'm a stranger to grief,” she wrote on Instagram January 10. “As much as this has touched my life and the lives of so many people I love. It's not something I've become comfortable with or familiar with.”
Maloney, who finalized his divorce from his co-star Tom Schwartz in 2022 – then explained how she deals with current events.
“I encountered various emotions, numbness, peace, complete sadness of the udder and even guilt at times,” she continued. “My dad was everyone's favorite, he was so charming, he made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We shared a love of dad jokes and he had an endless supply of them .”
In his moving tribute, Maloney highlighted how his father had “always been so supportive” of his efforts, before sharing some of his fondest memories of him.
