Heidi Klum is divorced and married.

After her seven-year marriage to Seal ended, the beloved model and TV personality played the field for years.

She ended up marrying Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz in 2019. The musician, 16 years her junior, even became the stepfather of her four children.

Tom Kaulitz and Heidi Klum first became an item in 2018

In March of that year, Klum and Kaulitz sparked dating rumors by kissing on the set of America's Got Talent.

However, they gradually became public through joint public appearances and appearances together on social media. Last May, they notably attended the amfAR gala in Cannes together.

Both packed on the PDA. In December 2018, they got engaged after a year of dating.

Heidi Klum and her husband are from Germany

Like Klum, Kaulitz is from Germany. In fact, his birthplace is East Berlin… because, as we know, Germany was once divided in two.

In May 2021, Heidi Klum spoke on Jimmy Kimmel live about how he had given her part of the Berlin Wall, now destroyed.

A fragment of what was once a monument to division and oppression is now a monument to their shared history – and, one might say, their lives. It is in their garden.

Tom Kaulitz is a twin

Whether you're a fan of their Netflix reality show, Kaulitz and Kaulitzor their podcast, Kaulitz Hills – Hollywood mustardyou know that Tom has a twin brother, Bill.

As the name of their podcast might suggest, the Kaulitz brothers live nearby, even sometimes joining together for extended family breakfasts.

And, as we mentioned, they had their own Netflix reality series.

Heidi Klum's husband is a musician

In 2001, at the age of 15, the Kaulitz brothers formed Tokio Hotel, a fairly well-known rock band. (But not as much as Heidi Klum)

Kaulitz is the lead guitarist. Bill is the lead singer. There are actually other members of the group, but none of them are Klum's husband or brother-in-law.

Klum is so supportive of her husband's music career that she loaned him a dress to wear for their music video to remake the song “Monsoon.”

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz were actually married twice

After getting divorced once, Heidi Klum wanted to be sure before marrying Tom Kaulitz. And, clearly, she was.

The two secretly married in early 2019, just two months after getting engaged in December 2018.

It wasn't until August 2019 that they had a big public wedding, complete with a celebration in Capri, Italy (perhaps the most beautiful place on earth), with a ceremony on a yacht.

February 2024 marked Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz's fifth anniversary. Good for them!
