Demi is not pregnant herself, and her family recently suffered a significant loss when her sister Madison De La Garza announced she lost her baby during an emergency C-section in October 2024.
Madison posted a simple message about herself Instagram. “On the evening of September 27, after an emergency C-section, Ryan and I held our baby girl for the first and last time,” she wrote.
“Thank you, Xiomara, for making us parents to the most perfect angel in heaven,” she continued. “Mommy and Daddy love you, my sweet girl.”
The “Heart Attack” singer showed her support for her sister with a loving comment. “I love you so much Xiomara. An angel in every sense of the word. I will be your aunt forever,” she wrote.
Before this sad news, Madison announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Ryan Mitchell in September of that year. She has posted many photos showing her baby bump.
She shared that they were expecting their baby in October. “Oh Ryan, how I love you. thank you for making all my dreams come true,” she wrote.
While the couple later shared the heartbreaking news of losing their daughter, their family was very supportive and excited about the new family member.
In the comments section, Demi explained how excited she was to become an aunt. “I already love you and this baby so much!!” she wrote.
Madison's future brother-in-law also shared a sweet message with her. “I love you! I’m so happy for you,” he wrote with black heart emojis.
Demi and Madison's cousin Braeden also showed he's eagerly awaiting the baby's arrival. “My uncle’s training will finally bear fruit,” he commented.

Although Demi is not pregnant herself, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer has spoken about her desire to have children on several occasions. In 2013, Demi predicted that she would start a family very soon in an interview with Latin review.
