The happiest ship at sea!
At any moment, something magical happens aboard the Disney Treasure which took us from Florida to Agrabah on a spectacular preview cruise with our favorite characters, endless epic experiences, delicious food (and treats), and a fairy-dusted pit stop on an island seemingly brought to life by Pixar.
Impeccably imbued with AladdinWith its on-theme flourishes and style, Disney's newest ship in the ever-growing fleet has everything you could want and more with an impressive commitment to splendor that elevates the unique experience that has never been equal to that of parks.
Exploring the ship's enchanted corridors and hiding places, we found ourselves immersed in fantasy emanating from a swoon-worthy statue of Aladdin and Jasmine riding the magic carpet in the ship's glorious Great Hall.
Fans of the beloved classic can make all the wishes they want after rubbing the Genie's lamp which will hopefully grant us all 89 of our wishes, including multi-million dollar, super powers like the Incredibles ( no capes!) and a magnificent mega sequel on the Treasury.
Sister ship to the Disney Wish (launched in 2022) and the Disney Destiny (set to sail in November 2025), the Treasure tells the timeless stories of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and the Disney parks through lounges, restaurants intelligently organized. areas, shows and events on the terraces that offer an unprecedented amount of entertainment.
At one point we found ourselves (healthily) shaking our tail feather at the super fun dance party where guests can enjoy carpet cutting shenanigans with Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy and Donald Duck alongside the crew members always energetic.
Oh my God (Mickey voice), that was a bygone moment!
The majesty, intrigue and wonder of the Treasury cannot be underestimated. It shines as both a celebration of Disney's legendary legacy and the epitome of modern entertainment. With 4 new ships launching by 2031, the cruise seems destined to become the pinnacle of Disney entertainment.
And this is not hyberbole or a talking point suggested by a publicist. The Treasury is astounding and has almost there is too much going on at any one time which is perfect for a 7 day trip.
“There’s adventure around every corner,” said Yolanda Cade, vice president of communications and public affairs for Disney Signature Experiences, of whose enthusiasm for the ship. “The spirit of adventure is like a living theater. »
The emphasis on literally every corner which makes Le Trésor an ideal destination for a family planning one big vacation per year.
When there aren't parties or shows or movie screenings of Disney classics or random characters walking around or trivia or karaoke, there's all the food you can eat (everything , from tasty barbecue to fresh seafood), followed by a probable food coma.
And if you still have room for dessert, there's Jumbeaux's Sweets ice cream parlor (inspired by Zootopia) which has every kind of sweet treat you've ever seen, with every ice cream flavor and topping you can imagine.
If you have kids, you'll have to tear them away at the completely immersive Oceaneer Club, where guests can connect with beloved superheroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man and more at Marvel's Super Hero Academy.
Here's what happened when we came across our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who helped us create our superhero costume.
You also have the opportunity to face your Jedi with Rey Skywalker at Star Wars: Cargo Bay, color with Rapunzel at Fairytale Hall or have fun with other surprise characters. For hours.
“Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do,” said Marcus Gibson, Show Producer and Creative, responsible for bringing magic to onboard events and experiences. “We want guests to feel like they are stepping into something bigger than themselves, where they are part of the story, not just spectators,” according to Black girl nerds.
Honestly, this was our favorite part of the ship. Very few things are cooler than hanging out with Spider-Man. Good luck getting your kids (and, in many cases, the adults traveling with you) to leave.
Brimming with shows, The Treasury offers some of the best live Disney entertainment you've ever seen.
The best of this brilliant group is The Tale of Moana which has our vote for the best live-action Disney show, perhaps ever. It is that GOOD.
Check out our Meet & Greet with Kaena Kekoa who stars as Moana in the Broadway-level production.
Lovers of Coco will love Plaza De Coco – the first in the world Coco– a themed theatrical dining experience with festive dinner menus featuring modern twists on traditional Mexican dishes.
Other notable experiences include the Scat Cat Lounge (which features a mini peanut butter and jelly sandwich dipped in a jazzy cocktail), the Haunted Mansion Parlor with good ghoulish drinks, and the soul-soothing Senses Spa which relies on the serenity of natural elements to promote cocooning and relaxation.
The tranquil spa features private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas, hammam and aromatherapy rooms as well as state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities, as well as a wellness area. Rainforest—an indoor/outdoor space with heated lounges, fountains, an aromatherapy steam room, a dry sauna and a soothing swimming pool.
Also worth highlighting are the spacious cabins with eye-catching Disney Easter eggs, free room service and premium amenities, including one of our favorite little gems: Disney Cruise Line's signature split bathroom concept.
And, of course, we can't forget the sunny day at Disney's exclusive private island, Castaway Cay, where sailors can soak up the sun on the beach while enjoying the Bahamian breeze with an adult beverage (or two).
Overall, we had a really good time with The Treasure, which is the ultimate Disney experience, especially for Disney adults, while also catering to people who may not be Disney adults or know nothing about Disney but love an amazing cruise experience.
