Meghan Markle delays Netflix series premiere amid LA fires

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle issue public plea as devastating wildfires continue in Los Angeles

Meghan Markle is focused on helping those in need amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

As the Duchess of Sussex prepared to present her new Netflix series, With love, Meghanon January 15, she decided to push back the release date to March 4.

“I thank my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch,” she said in a Jan. 12 statement, via People“as we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

In recent days, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry—who reside in Montecito with their children Archie5, and Lilibet3 years after leaving his role as a senior member of the royal family, visited the Pasadena Convention Center to provide support to those affected by the fires.

The couple also shared resources about their websitewriting: “Over the past few days, wildfires across Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers and more, affecting dozens of thousands of people from all walks of life. A state of emergency was declared.
