Men argue again, spilling the tea (or maybe “milk”) and making a mess of themselves in front of microphones in the New Year.
Drake's number one fan and biggest hype man, DJ Academiestook to his livestream channel to broadcast some major tea about the rapper's friendship with NBA star LeBron James. According to the troublemaker, the former friends often slept together with women in Drake's hometown of Toronto. Well, that would be comparable to the journey of a famous man, except for one small detail: Lebron's image as a perfect, happily married family man.
The Akademiks went to the net to defend Drake amid reactions to the “Fighting Irish Freestyle” that leaked online and led to speculation that the “Nothing Was The Same” rapper was throwing shots at the Lakers player. Apparently the mighty mouth of the Internet decided to share what he heard about Drake and Lebron's affinity for finding snow bunnies together.
“Let me just tell you what I heard. LeBron, you and Drake went together,” he said. “You cheated on your f**king wife and Drake used to facilitate s**t.”
He continued,
“You can’t dance to a song about him being a pedophile, he was supplying you with the sluts. You live a lie and everyone thinks you're the perfect guy.
May we all find someone to love us and defend us like the Akademiks defend Aubrey Graham. For his part, Drake has yet to confirm or deny who his “Fighting Irish” lyrics are about, although many have pointed out that Lebron's high school basketball team often went by that nickname.
I'm talking about our family, well I'm not the cousin to visit/God forbid we ever tarnish your public image
All these brothers talking like I really found a brother or a sister,” Drake raps. Fight the Irish.
Only time will tell if the men will shake hands and make up, but for now, it looks like Drake isn't putting the past behind him after last year's battle royal with Kendrick Lamar. He clearly took note of the camp changes.
