Rapper and streamer DDG shares his experience with the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles and reveals he doesn't have fire insurance.
As wildfires rage in Los Angeles, we see personal accounts from all of life's works, from celebrities, retired seniors and everyday workers. Rapper DDG recently hosted a live stream on Twitch as wildfires raged near him and shared his personal experience.
Surprisingly, DDG revealed he was desperately trying to get fire insurance for his Los Angeles mansion. Discussions on social media claimed that most homes in the area did not have fire insurance.
According to Complexthe streamer revealed to his surprise that he recently learned his house didn't have fire insurance.
“I found out today that I don’t have fire insurance,” the rapper said at the start of his stream at 5:30 p.m. “So I'm thinking about all of this because (if) my crib burned down, it's just a waste. I have to figure out all these things where I have insurance on my crib and all that because if I don't have fire insurance, it's over. I just have to take the L on the chin and I'm not trying to do that.
DDG learned of this derogatory information when he was asked to evacuate his home. Despite the stressful situation, he says a “nine-year under-athon” will be on the table if the house burns down without insurance.
“If I had insurance it would be a good old day.” I am a happy man. I have no problem, burns. Do your thing. Do whatever you have to do, Mr. Fire. If I have insurance, but if I don't have insurance, even if it's like, “Okay, I'm pissed. »
Los Angeles is a melting pot of different backgrounds and financial classes who all need to come together during this traumatic time. More than 100,000 people have been evacuated from local Los Angeles neighborhoods and new evacuation orders are being issued daily.
So far, only 11 deaths have been reported as the fires have ravaged nearly 40,000 acres of land.
