Jade Chavez treated her followers to a close-up look at her Sunday service. But the moment quickly escalated into a debate on social media about what is appropriate to wear while serving the Lord! However, Cheaves didn't let the critics slide and applauded with a few posts on SnapChat.
In screenshots shared by The Shade Room, Cheaves asked if the internet should “complain and do everything.” She then left for people to stare at wrong parts her days.
“Like you all completely discrediting the fact that I put my tail up and went to church because you were too focused on what I was wearing?!! is SICK,” Jade wrote in response to a commenter who asked which church she attends, “dress like this”.
Another critic wrote: “Bc you only went to church to fit in not God sis.” Cheaves clapped back with a selfie, rolled his eyes and said: “I have seizures every day when I wake up… This comment doesn't work for me.”
So, let's focus on Jade Chavez's outfit last Sunday. The Wayman CEO arrived to work in a white turtleneck and a pink and white checkered coat with Chanel logos. She paired the top with a black miniskirt, her own brand of tights, and shiny plethystic knee-high boots.
X revealed about Jade Chavez's church appearance
As mentioned, Jade Chavez hit back after her outfit became a bit of a social media talking point. As of Monday morning, people are still considering appearances.
Appropriate or not? We'll let you all tell it. Keep scrolling to see which side X (RIP Twitter roommates) choose and why!
I think the concept of “come as you are” is more rooted in the state of your heart and relationship with God at the time. People think they have to be high-level believers to welcome them, and I think it's super-minimum when it comes to clothing, so yeah, she ODs it.

In the Bible, “come as you are” means that people can come to God with their problems and sins without first getting their lives in order. pic.twitter.com/zngpJyZOnr

This skirt was tacky for church. You couldn't wait until church was over to put that shit on? 😂
— Jelly Santos (@MrsJellySantos) January 13, 2025
SIMILAR. And I don't want to hear 'come as you are' as a cop to dress like she's going to a club or a bar. Take some DECORUM. She can wear it anywhere ELSE.

They would hate my mom. She always looked beautiful, but none of her dresses can handle her knees! Lmaoo she would throw on some socks and a scarf and call it a day. Lol and they would all say she looked like she just walked out of a church catalog. They thought she was cute!😭

The outfit is super cute, but I personally just wouldn't wear a mini skirt growing up in church, and if I did, the jacket would be longer than the skirt. Come as you are, but it is a form of respect to be in a religious place, especially with people of all ages.

Brunch yes, but I think skirts are too short for church. I don't like the outfit either but I digress 😩

I mean… the Bible says come as you are. She is so covered. The skirt is a bit short but I think she is, it balances it out idk but yeah be happy she went to church

She looks good… the long coat was very elegant. There is nothing wrong with her. Hates anything!🤷♀️😩

skirts that short weren't even allowed at school, so why did she think it was acceptable where a MINI skirt to Church? 😂😂😂 'Come as you are' is meant mentally and spiritually only and not only God can judge but his judgment is the only thing that matters cs I judge 🤣
