Melania Trump Details Son Barron Trump's First Year of College

As an only son with Donald Trump Continuing her first year of college at New York University, Melania shared the 18-year-old's results ahead of the president-elect's inauguration.

“He will come visit us, yes,” she said of Barron during a Jan. 13 conference call. Fox and friends interview, adding that she tries to make him feel as normal as possible. “I feel like the kids, we make them feel like they’re 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them. And then we give them the wings to fly. And I always respect Barron's yes and no and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.

This isn't the first time Melania, 54, emphasized her son's autonomy. After all, she let him take the lead when it came to deciding on her college.

“It's his decision to come here that he wants to be in New York, study in New York and live at home,” the former model told Fox and friends in September, “and I respect that.”
