Maybe the FBI was there Ben Affleckin the neighborhood, but they weren't looking for him.
Two FBI agents along with two deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office were monitoring the Palisades neighborhood over the weekend of January 11 and 12 as part of an investigation related to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles .
An FBI spokesperson told E! News: “Members of the FBI Ground Intercept Task Force are conducting activities in the Palisades Fire area in connection with unauthorized drone activity. Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including various residences, for this reason.
Photos obtained by TMZ appear to show officers outside Ben's home, located near the Palisades. The FBI has not confirmed to E! if they were specifically at Ben's house.
E! News reached out to Ben's rep for comment but has not received a response.
Although the FBI has also not shared details regarding the unauthorized drone activity it is investigating, on January 9, a Private drone collides with Canadian firefighting plane-known as the Super Scooper, designed to drop water on wildfires, as it flew over the Palisades Fire.
