Yvette Nicole Brown reminds Khloé Kardashian about her family's past

Khloe Kardashian continues to draw criticism after she called Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass a “joke” for cutting the city's fire department budget months before the devastating wildfires.

“Community” actress Yvette Nicole Brown is the youngest slam Khloé and did so by reminding the reality TV star of her family's past excessive water consumption.

Khloé isn't the only Kardashian to come under fire in the Los Angeles fires, as her sister Kim Kardashian It was also criticized for promoting its brand SKIMS during the pearl.

On Monday, Brown shared a screenshot of the Aug. 23, 2022, Rolling Stone article headlined “Kardashians among LA's worst water wasters, use 333,000 gallons over county limit in June.”

An excerpt from the article claimed that the Kardashian family's use of a private jet was the “tip of the iceberg” in terms of their water wastage, adding that it showed their “willful ignorance of climate change.”

In the caption of Brown's post, she had a message for Khloé. The 53-year-old wrote“This is from 2022, when Los Angeles was in the middle of a drought. Every citizen was asked to save for everyone else. You know because of the fires?”

She concluded: “This is how some citizens answered the question. Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?”

Many of Brown's followers reacted to her post by praising her and calling out Khloé Kardashian.

One person commented: “See what happens when you're loud and wrong @khloekardashian ??? Smh.”

Another person expressed disappointment that Khloé has hundreds of millions of followers on Instagram. They wrote: “And the problem is also that Khloe has 304 million followers. gawd damn!!!!”

A third follower asked Khloe not to withhold the name of the Los Angeles mayor. They wrote: “Don't say Mrs. Bass' name now Khloe.”

A fourth person thanked Brown for sharing relevant content. They commented: “@yvettenicolebrown your content from social media to everything you do in the entertainment business is always on point.”

They continued: “Thank you for using your platform to spread the truth and fight rumours.”

Khloé sparked controversy last Friday when she called Mayor Karen Bass a “joke” in her Instagram Stories post.

Khloe slammed Bass after being told by the city's fire chief, Kristin Crowley Fox 11 that the mayor reduced the city's ability to fight the fire by forcing major budget cuts months before the fires began.

Crowley also claimed she requested more money a month ago because some fire trucks needed immediate repairs and hydrants needed fixing. However, her pleas fell on deaf ears.

Khloé shared a screenshot of Crowley's interview on her Instagram Stories and expressed her support for the fire chief.

She wrote: “I stand by YOU Chief Crowley!!! You spoke the truth and had tears in your eyes because I could tell you didn't even want to say it but it was the TRUTH!!!!”

The 40-year-old added: “Thank you for being honest @losangeles fire chief Crowley.”

She concluded by calling out Bass and writing, “Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!”

After Khloé's post, many liberals took to social media crush him for being quick to call out Basu but not doing the same to other controversial politicians and public figures.

One person per X wrote“Interesting how Khloe Elon Musk Kardashian was very quick to call Mayor Karen Bass a 'JOKE' but didn't smoke Trump, JJD Vance or Elon last election.”

Amid criticism, Khloé, who shares two children with NBA star Tristan Thompson, also received some support from people who felt she did the right thing by calling out Bass, who they said should step down.

Khloé isn't the only Kardashian to receive criticism amid the wildfires. Her sister, Kim Kardashian, also received insults after her elevated SKIMS Winter Sale.

After Kim shared about the sale on Instagram Stories, Los Angeles writer and comedian Meredith Lynch called her out, accusing her brand of prioritizing the devastating fires.

A frustrated Lynch said“With Kim Kardashian having such a huge reach, having such a base in Los Angeles, I think it's wild that they're not like, 'Hey, let me use my platform to spend as much resources as possible.'

She added: “No, she's like 'buy SKIMS' instead.”

Fans joined Lynch in blasting Kim, calling the latter's post insensitive and accusing her of not caring about others.
