King Charles diagnosed with pancreatic cancer: report

After everything he's been through, is this really how King Charles' reign will end?

Buckingham Palace announced in February last year that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer, but authorities provided no details regarding the severity of his condition or which organs were affected.

The same was true for Kate Middleton after announcing her cancer diagnosis. For whatever reason, the royals have decided to keep their conditions under their hat – or under their crown, if you prefer.

However, insiders say Charles' prognosis is an “open secret” among royal staff and that those close to him know exactly what type of cancer he is battling.

And he is truly engaged in the fight of his life.

King Charles' pancreatic cancer diagnosis: What would it mean for his future?

According to a report from In touchKing Charles was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given only two years to live.

Charles reportedly received the diagnosis after undergoing surgery for an enlarged prostate earlier this year.

It should be noted that the In touch This information has not been confirmed by Buckingham Palace or any other media.

The report also claims that Charles plans to undergo treatment to “prolong his life” and will continue to take a partial break from royal duties.

Pancreatic is one of the deadliest forms of cancer and has claimed the lives of public figures such as Steve Jobs, Alex Trebek and Patrick Swayze.

Charles, of course, waited 73 years to become king, and his commitment to his royal duties is the stuff of legend.

So it's no surprise that he plans to continue working despite his recent – and apparently quite serious – health problems.

“Charles is keeping certain appearances, not only to squash conspiracy theories and false reports about his death, but also to assure people that he is still capable of carrying out his duties as king,” a close source said. .

The source adds that Charles is “following doctors' orders and is willing to try any treatment to extend his life by at least a few years.”

Palace officials confirmed that Charles was suffering from cancer and planned to continue working, but they said little else about his condition.

“Her Majesty today began a program of regular treatments, during which doctors have advised her to postpone her visits to the public,” the palace statement said.

How does King Charles feel now?

“During this period, Her Majesty will continue to deal with state affairs and administrative formalities as usual.”

“His aides can tell that Charles still worries about his legacy,” shares the second insider, adding that the royal leader “tends to worry himself.”

Charles' wife, Camilla, his sister, Anne, and his son William all took on additional royal duties to pick up the slack for the ailing king.

But as the year progressed, Her Royal Highness made several high-profile appearances. In fact, despite his health, Charles has attended more royal events this year than his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, who was also diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer. (Kate is now in remission.)

A royal family in crisis

Since Kate and Charles received the diagnosis, the royal family has been plagued by rumors.

The two members of the royal family have become the subject of conspiracy theories, with Kate bearing the brunt. In fact, it was the horrific conspiracy theories, ranging from William's infidelity to bulimia, that finally forced Kate to reveal she had cancer.

Meanwhile, social media users claimed that Charles had died and his death was being kept a secret by Buckingham Palace.

The palace refuted the rumor with a quick statement saying: “We are pleased to confirm that the King is continuing his official private business. »

But keeping the nature of her cancer so secret has sparked concern now, nearly a year later, that same concern is growing.

Especially if this report turns out to be true.
