Why Kanye West has extended his stay abroad due to lawsuits

Kanye West has been conspicuously away from his home in Los Angeles for months, prompting speculation as to the reason for his extended world travels.

Now, people close to the “Donda” rapper say he's worried about facing the multiple lawsuits he's been facing as well as being embroiled in the growing controversy surrounding his ex-boyfriend. Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Meanwhile, Kanye West continues to stir controversy online after he recently shared a racy clip of his wife. Bianca Censor to celebrate his 30th birthday.

West and his wife, Censori, recently paid $35 million to purchase the sprawling Beverly Hills mansion with 11 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, two swimming pools and a spa.

However, the couple rarely comes into town to enjoy their new property or stroll around Los Angeles like they used to.

Over the past eight months, West has traveled the world with Censori, traveling from Tuscany to Paris in May and then to Russia in June, just as his legal troubles mounted.

Sources said Daily mail that there is a reason why West has chosen to keep his distance in light of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's accusations that she is not the father of their children.

“Kanye's reasoning for not being (in America) has nothing to do with his kids and everything to do with the multiple lawsuits he's facing in the states,” sources told the news outlet.

“Kanye is freaking out about all this stuff with Diddy,” the sources continued, referring to the ongoing sex crime charges against Diddy in connection with his trial, which is scheduled for May 2025.

The “Vultures 1” scammer is involved in several lawsuits. Last June, his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, filed a lawsuit accusing him of wrongful termination and sexual harassment while she worked for him from 2021 to 2022.

In the original filing, she claimed West fired her after she refused to sleep with him. Then, in an updated filing she filed in October, she accused him of sexually assaulting her during a party at a Santa Monica recording studio where Diddy was allegedly present.

According to Daily mailPisciotta claims she was told to drink or leave and was served drinks “to be poured in the direction of West.”

After drinking, she allegedly “slipped into an altered and very weak state” and the rapper suggested to her years later that they had sex that night.

Pisciotta's attorney, Mark Curreney, cited West's extended absence from the country in a November filing, saying he had been “out of state” to avoid the “issue of a subpoena” that has stalled the lawsuit.

West and Diddy were longtime friends and respected colleagues before a disagreement soured their relationship.

The two rappers have previously shared their admiration for each other, with West calling the hip-hop mogul his “idol” when presenting him with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 BET Awards.

“I just gotta meet this man,” West said of Diddy, speaking of his music. “This is my favorite artist.”

West also mentioned how instrumental Diddy was in his personal life, saying that he usually “turns to him for advice to this day” and that the father of six “inspired a lot of my life decisions.”

Despite the fact that he has distanced himself from Diddy since their breakup, sources said Daily mail that the “Carnival” rapper is afraid of being dragged into the case, possibly as a witness.

Meanwhile, West has not stopped stirring up controversy about the nature of his relationship with Censori.

The father-of-four took to his Instagram account to share a nude clip of the Australian architect sitting in a bath as he celebrated her 30th birthday.

It comes amid speculation that they are on the verge of a divorce and have splurged on buying their Beverly Hills mansion as a “last ditch effort” to save their marriage.

Censori reportedly wants “stability” in their marriage as she longs to start a family and raise children. However, given the rapper's frequent travels, how she will achieve this remains to be seen.

“Bianca has wanted stability for over a year,” the source said Daily mail. “This house was a last ditch effort to save their marriage because Kanye knows what she wants, which is a family and a foundation. But her family doesn't know if Kanye will give her that.”

The insider continued, “Kanye changes his mind every day about what he wants to do, and this house was bought with the intention of living in it.”

According to a news source, the source revealed that Censori is tired of the constant movement and would like to settle down.

They explained that Censori is “sick of jumping from hotel to hotel and city to city” and “hasn't had any stability since she married Kanye.”

The source also said that with the sexual assault lawsuit they're both facing against his former employee, “she's stressed out.”

They added: “One day they're moving into their dream house. The next he's building a community on top of it and leveling it. Then the next day they're flipping it.”
