Skeleton Crew Episode 8 brings back a powerful ship from Star Wars Rebels

“Andor” may be the tonal opposite of “Skeleton Crew”, an all-ages show where kids take part in a wondrous adventure that's a far cry from Tony Gilroy's hard-hitting political thriller, but both shows have something in common: they both like to be on their own. Granted, both shows have major implications for the universe at large — like the start of the Rebellion and the discovery of an ancient Republic mint — but for the most part, the show isn't interested in referencing or bringing in other Star Wars projects. cameos.

While we've seen X-wings be badass before, this was different because of the B-wings. It was extremely powerful, although it destroyed the fighter's avionics every time it was used.

The B-wings appear in Star Wars Rebels, where they become the main starfighters of the Phoenix Squadron along with the A-wings. Sure, it's a pretty cartoony ship, but it works great in animation and even looks cool in live action. Thankfully, Skeleton Crew resists the urge to take characters from animation to live action (unlike the rest of the MandoVerse), but this isn't the first time something from the cartoons has been referenced in Skeleton Crew.
