Jessica Alba mourns the past while looking to the future.
More than a week after news broke that Fantastic Four the actress and her husband Warren Cash had separated after 16 years of marriage, Jessica confirmed the split with a heartfelt statement.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she says. wrote in his message of January 16. “I am proud of how we have grown in our marriage over the past 20 years and now it is time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
Jessica, who shares girls Honor16, Haven13 years old and son Hayes7, with Cash – highlighted the amicable nature of the separation, emphasizing how deeply connected the family is.
“We move forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she added. “Our children remain our highest priority and we ask for privacy at this time.”
She captioned the post with a simple white heart.
Cash, for his part, hasn't addressed his breakup with Jessica.
