Justin Baldoni drags Taylor Swift into his legal battle with Blake Lively

Baldoni has shed more light on what may have gone on behind the scenes before he was able to bring Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel It Ends With Us to life on the big screen.

In a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds and their publicist, Baldoni, allege that the “Deadpool” actor and Taylor Swift pressured him to accept some of Lively's rewrites for the film.

Baldoni shared that Lively changed the script “dramatically” from its original form. Elsewhere in the 179-page complaint, Baldoni alleges Lively was seemingly unmoved when contacted to let her know she was being pressured by her A-list friends.

Baldoni notes that he was “summoned” to Reynolds and Lively's New York penthouse, where Swift arrived and began “praising Lively's script. Baldoni understood the subtext: He had to follow Lively's instructions on the script.”
