Jamie Foxx brings his daughter back to the premiere

Jamie Foxx attended the premiere of his new movie Back in Action with his 16-year-old daughter Annelise Bishop on January 15 in Berlin, Germany.

Fox, whose real name is Eric Bishop, credited Annelise with helping save his life when he was in a coma following a stroke in 2023.

Back in Action starring Jamie Foxx was released on Netflix on January 17.

Fox attended the premiere of his new film in Berlin.Back in action” on Jan. 15. The 57-year-old actor brought his 16-year-old daughter, Annelise, along, according to PEOPLE.

The duo walked the Red Carpet at the Zoo Palast Theater where Annelise rocked a plaid gray and black suit while her father wore a black suit with a black and white lapel.

Back in Action also stars Cameron Diazand both actors play ex-spies in the film who are brought out of retirement when their cover is blown.

She Netflix special, “Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was…,” Fox noted that Annelise helped save his life by playing her guitar at his bedside. The then 14-year-old is credited with regulating his vital signs as Fox was unconscious after the stroke.

“My vitals are so bad they're going to lose me,” Fox said in his Netflix special. “That's when a miracle happened, and that miracle worked with my youngest daughter.”

“She's 14 — I didn't want her to see me like that,” he continued. “But she snuck into my hospital room with my guitar. 'I know what my dad needs.'

“When she played, my life… fell… there was God in that guitar,” he added. “The mental defibrillator.”

Fox also brought Anellis along with his 30-year-old daughter Corinne Fox to the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards. The trio attended an event in Los Angeles on January 5.

The “Ray” actor also noted in his Netflix special to Corinne that his information about his condition was private as she provided updates to the public. Foxx suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on April 11, 2023, which led to a stroke. He was in a coma for 20 days and had to learn to walk again. The comedian shared details about his illness in his special edition of “Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was…”

“They kept me sane,” he said in his special. “No one can see him. They stopped it all. They didn't want you to see me like this, and I didn't want you to see me like this. I wanted you to see me like this.”

Fox shared a picture of his daughters attending the Golden Globes with him Instagram it's January. 6.

“Me with my two beautiful daughters walking the world @goldenglobes…a proud father daughter moment Anelise Estelle and @corinnefoxx so beautiful and fearless,” he wrote. “When I was asked on the carpet what do you think about the awards? I said I've already won to be here with my two girls. Standing tall. Standing with so much love. It's not my award. It's my award. God is good , and I think you know the rest.

Back in Action is now available on Netflix and stars Foxx and Diaz as a husband and wife who used to be spies. After the duo start a family, they are “drawn back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.”

The trailer shows Diaz's character Emily and Fox's character Matt as they fight the culprits at a gas station. Emily later tells her husband, “Okay, you know I love our life,” which prompts Matt to reply, “But?”

“Something clicked tonight,” Emily said. “For the first time in a really long time, I felt alive again. I felt like a b—tch again.”

Foxx is credited with bringing Diaz out of retirement for “Back in Action.” The two previously starred together in 1999's Any Given Sunday and 2014's Annie.
