Dolores Catania Admits 'RHONJ' Done, SLAMS Cast For Letting Ego Destroy Show!
The future The Real Housewives of New Jersey is over after Well done after an explosive season 14, hit the brakes and put the show on hiatus. Dolores Catania the fan favorite that joined Season 7 doesn't hold back in spilling the tea on what really brought the once-iconic franchise to its knees.
Dolores has seen her share of Jersey drama, but even she admits the cast's egos and endless bickering have gotten completely out of control.
In a recent interview with PEOPLEDolores revealed that the show was not filmed. “We didn't film last season, so we're not coming back. We're not going to air in January or February,” she confirmed.
Expressing her frustration, she added: “Of course I'm looking forward to seeing my cast back on screen or even back on set, but they created a mess. I'm a little mad that everyone couldn't collect it. I really am.”
Tensions among the cast reached their highest point during the season 14 finale and even Well done skipped hosting a reunion for the first time in the show's history. Dolores shared his determination to mend the relationship before the final blow.
“On the way to this final, I talked to a therapist and asked her for some tips on how to go in and talk to women. I wrote it down in the car on the way there,” she explained. “And no matter what I did on and off camera, nothing helped. . You could see I was defeated. I sat there and knew you wouldn't see us for a while, I saw it coming.
Despite the pause, Dolores still hoping for a return opportunity. “I know I would (come back). I think if there's some time for things to cool down, maybe they would try to do that,” she said.
“It's time to put the ego aside. You don't throw anything like that away. We had great ratings. We've been doing well – we just need to learn how to handle it. Such is life. It is about struggle and reconciliation.
While the future RHONJ remains unclear, Dolores' candid reflections highlight the deep rifts that have rocked the franchise and the hope that time and perspective could bring the cast back together. Fans will have to wait to see if the Jersey Girls can find a way to move forward.
