Shera Gopmanpreviously known to reality TV fans as Cheru Habsher, made her name after appearing on the MTV series. My super sweet 16 in 2007, but she is only now talking about her possible experience on the show.
In a TikTok video shared on Saturday, January 18, the reality TV alum claimed she was never paid a cent for her time on the show.
In a social media post, Gopman mouthed, along with audio, saying, “Since we're all going to die, there's one more secret I think I need to share with you.” She then points to a photo of herself in the series and captions it: “Since TikTok is getting banned, I'm going to tell you how much money I made on MTV. My super sweet 16“. She then says “Zero” while “$0” flashes on the screen.
Gopman's episode aired on January 15, 2007. Her appearance on the popular reality series helped pave the way for her to land a series of small acting roles on television shows including The Amityville Terror, Blind thoughtsand Small Fish.
The show wasn't Gopman's only foray into reality TV, either. She and her mother, Dawn Hubsher, joined the cast sMothered in 2019 before her daughter was born that same year.

Having worked in healthcare for several years before becoming a life coach and social media personality, Gopman has amassed nearly 400,000 followers on TikTok, where most of her content is originally shared.
Gopman has been an outspoken supporter of the platform, which will begin operating in the United States on Sunday, January 19, after the hearing of the Supreme Court TKTKTK. On Friday, January 17, she shared a video A picture of herself and her young daughter at the airport and the caption: “We're moving to China because TikTok is being banned.”
After a commenter noted that TikTok was also banned in China, Gopman shared a second video on Saturday that included her mother. “We're Leaving America Because Tiktok Is Banned” she wrote.
Gopman and her mother are co-authors of the 2019 book A bond that lasts forever. In an interview for the book, Gopman told Tinseltown Mom, “My mom and I have always been close. Of course, we had our ups and downs, like any mother-daughter relationship, and we argued quite a bit during my teenage years, but the way we got through the tough times made us that much stronger.
She also credited her mother with helping her find her voice as a young woman, and instead often asked her opinion on various topics. “It made me realize that I had a voice and that she cared. She always wanted to spend quality time with me, which made me feel very special early on,” she explained.
