Dave Chappelle Jokes About Never Getting Invited To Diddy's 'Freak Offs'

Back on “Saturday Night Live,” the comedian joked that it's because he's “ugly.” However, he later offered an alternative explanation, suggesting that it might be due to his “sweeping energy”.

Dave Chappelle also touched on Sean “Diddy” Combs' current legal troubles, saying he's never “seen anything like it.”

After his return to Saturday Night Live, Chappelle made a series of cheeky jokes, including one about why he was never invited to Diddy's now-infamous hedonistic parties.

In a joke that left many in stitches, the comedian claimed that his unattractive appearance made him unfit to be invited unlike other Hollywood stars who are associated with dinner parties.

Chappelle added: “I thought about it, I was like, oh my God… I'm ugly. Everybody in Hollywood had an orgy and none of you called me? That really hurts!.”

In true Chappelle fashion, he cracked the joke on his head, quipping that it wasn't because he was ugly, it was his “draw energy” that kept Diddy from inviting him.

According to Daily mailThe stand-up comic went on to remark: “Looks like I'm going to say. The last thing you want to see in an orgy is me staring at you.”

During the monologue, Chappelle also addressed the issues Diddy is facing with the sex-crime allegations, saying he believes the situation is unprecedented.

He said, “I've been in trouble in my time, but let me tell you, this guy Puffy… this guy Puffy is in a lot of trouble, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. They've got this guy in a RICO case!”

Diddy is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, all felonies that could potentially land the embattled rapper in prison for life.

His charges related to his “unusual activities,” which were described as drug-fueled sex parties that the rapper electronically recorded and which included women he forced to attend.

He remains the only person charged in connection with the case, although several celebrities are speculated to have been involved in his hedonistic activities.

Recently, Diddy's attorneys, Mark Agnifilo and Tenny Geragos, slammed federal prosecutors' claims that the rapper's “extraordinary” women were victims who were drugged and abducted for sexual activities.

This comes after the duo were allowed to review nine videos of hedonistic parties between November 20 and December 13, 2024 under the supervision of law enforcement.

The videos are believed to have been seized from the injured rapper when authorities raided his home last year.

According to Diddy's lawyers, contrary to what prosecutors claim, the videos prove the rapper's “innocence” because the participants were “fully consenting adults.”

“Contrary to what the government has led this court and the public to believe, the so-called 'Freak Offs' were private sexual activities between full-fledged, consenting adults in a long-term relationship,” they said in a statement. ABC News.

Diddy has denied all the charges against him and is going to prove his innocence in court. The trial is scheduled for May this year, and the next hearing is scheduled for April.

After his arrest in September 2024, the music mogul has made several attempts to secure bail, but has hit roadblocks three times.

He was considered a flight risk as part of his bail denial, in addition to concerns about his potential to intimidate witnesses in the case.

Diddy is also facing multiple civil sexual assault and harassment lawsuits filed by alleged victims. He has denied the allegations and issued several statements claiming he never assaulted anyone.

He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York pending trial.

The New Peacock documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, captured one of Diddy's close friends claiming that his mum Janice Combs threw parties during his youth that “weakened” him against sex.

The documentary also features other allegations made by several individuals, such as a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a Making the Band winner.

Diddy's lawyer has since denounced the allegations, stating that “the documentaries contain unverified claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence.”

They added: “Especially in the case of the Peacock documentary, one has to question the motivations and credibility of the interviewees. Many claim to have knowledge but have no connection to the truth, while their wild, unsubstantiated theories are spun and sensationalized to seem factual.”
