TikToker Eldiara Doucette holds 'funeral' for her arm amid cancer battle

Eldiara Douchette found the perfect way to end a big loss.

According to the TikTok star, who goes by the nickname Semi-bionic Barbie on social media, sharing that she had her dominant right arm amputated in October, she held a mock funeral to help her adjust.

As she wrote alongside a TikTok from January 15where she approached his arm during a revival service in an all-black outfit, “I used my free will and had a memorial for my arm that I lost to cancer.

Later, Eldiara, who has been battling synovial sarcoma – a rare cancer – since 2021, shared that this light moment actually helped her heal.

“What started as a joke – organizing a service for my amputated arm – ended up being a beautifully cathartic experience,” Eldiara wrote in an Instagram post from January 16. “I laughed at the absurdity of the thing for a minute, then just stared at the shriveled skin for a while, trying to remember the last 22 years I got to spend with this thing.”
