Paris Hilton says her son wants to become a firefighter after losing his house

After The simple life star – who shares 2-year-old Phoenix and London14 months with my husband Carter Reum– lost his $8.4 million Malibu home in the Los Angeles fires, she detailed what he wants to be when he grows up.

In a video interview with TMZwhile holding his son during an outing to LIn Angeles, the 43-year-old explained: “He said he wanted to be a firefighter.”

While Paris was interviewed alongside her son, who adorably wore a hat emblazoned with “Big Bro” on the front, she also shared her condolences with other residents wThey lost their house.

“I am heartbroken for everyone who lost everything,” Paris continued. “Families with children, animals. It's just heartbreaking to see what happened to California.

And although Phoenix's professional aspirations were inspired by tragedy, the family is also doing what they can to support the community during this turbulent time. In fact, Paris provided insight into fostering a pet, Zuzu, who was displaced by the Altadena fires.
