Police continue to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Eliza Huszti And Henriette Huszti.
After the Hungarian sisters, both aged 32, were last seen on January 7 on Market Street at Victoria Bridge in Aberdeen, Scotland, authorities have confirmed that the search for the women is ongoing and has revealed their last communication before their disappearance.
In a press release issued by Scottish Police, authorities said a text message was sent from Henrietta's phone to the sisters' landlord at around 2:12 a.m. from the Victoria Bridge area on the morning of their disappearance. In the text, the sisters had jointly indicated that “they would not return to the apartment”.
Shortly after the message was sent, Henrietta's phone was disconnected. The next day, the sisters' landlady found their belongings in their apartment and reported this unusual behavior to the police.
Since the investigation was opened, authorities have determined that Henrietta and Eliza were last seen crossing the aforementioned Victoria Bridge around the same time their owner received their unusual correspondence. After crossing the bridge, CCTV footage obtained by authorities revealed the sisters turned right, towards the Aberdeen Boat Club, on the River Dee.
