Gordon Thornton discussed his children with Mia on #RHOP
On Sunday's episode of #RHOP, Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant confronted Mia after Karen's husband, Ray, sat down with Mia's husband, Gordon.
Gordon told Ray that he and his wife were in a great co-parenting situation, even though she claimed Gordon had hurriedly picked up their children without her consent while on vacation in Panama.
The revelation shocked Ray, given that he had heard about the story of the unauthorized collection of children.
“There were a few decisions that I found a little questionable, so I got my kids back,” Gordon said before going into detail.
“She was with another guy…she had the kids there,” Gordon said while confirming to Ray that he was talking about Mia's boyfriend, Inc. “I went to Atlanta and had my kids The fact is that I don't know him well enough to like him or not like him, what I do know is that he had affairs with my wife.
Later in the conversation, he also talked about taking a paternity test for his son Jeremiah, amid allegations that Mia's boyfriend, Inc., might be the father.
According to Gordon, he took the test and it confirmed he was the father, and Mia knew about it.
“You don’t need the mother’s consent,” Gordon said. “I waited a few weeks and showed it to him.”
Ray later spoke to his wife Karen and questioned Mia's previous claims that she had full custody of her children with Gordon. He also reiterated Gordon's concerns that Mia had left her children with her boyfriend and spilled the tea and that Gordon had gotten a positive paternity test for their son.

“It’s pretty clear that you lied to this entire group…about everything,” Gizelle said. “No one divorces anyone, according to G,” Karen said.

In a fiery Instagram post, Mia said Gordon brought up the paternity issue, not her, which is true and was revealed in the Season 8 finale. Likewise, she said Gordon brought up her affair with Inc, announced their split to TMZ and revealed her bipolar diagnosis.
According to Mia, even though her husband may act “normal,” that's not always the case given his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, and that's why she comes across as a liar.
“Let me set the record straight. I was NOT the one who brought the issue of my son's paternity to the public eye, it was his father who did it,” she wrote in a lengthy caption on IG. “I I did NOT expose my infidelity to the world, my husband did. It was Gordon who chose to air our family affairs on TMZ and then went on a public apology tour at the reunion. last year he revealed. something I've protected him from for years: his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, which causes him to behave unpredictably.
Because people with bipolar disorder can look, sound, and appear just as “normal” as others, it's those closest to them who are bitten. “I'm OK with being called a 'liar' if it means protecting my family, but it's heartbreaking that people still choose to believe Gordon when he told you all who and what he was capable of.” she added. “But sure, okay.”
Mia then followed up with text messages between her and Gordon regarding the situation in Panama.
In the texts, Gordon says he'll come pick up the kids before Mia reminds him he has a doctor's appointment in Charlotte the next day.
Mia then says she's moving forward with more reliable child care, leading Gordon to allege she's being disrespectful.
“What you are doing is very disrespectful to me,” Gordon wrote. “I don’t even have Jacqueline’s address or the phone number of the people (who) were going to take care of my children.”
Mia responded with a note stating that Jacqueline and “the girls” would be watching the children and reminded Gordon that Jacqueline's address and phone number had not changed.
“Jacqueline has lived at the same address for more than 7 years and she also has the same number. I shared the girls' names, you met them years ago.
Mia later followed up with another post, seemingly showing that she and Gordon have a friendly relationship while also raising awareness about mental health disorders.
“The challenges of being married to someone with bipolar disorder are real. The unpredictability of mood swings, emotional ups and downs, and the strain this can put on daily life has tested our patience, communication, and ability to adapt. “Perhaps the greatest lesson this season has brought is the reminder that love is not about perfection but about showing up for each other, even when things are difficult. It also allowed us to advocate for mental health awareness and break the stigma surrounding bipolar disorder.
