Multiple reports have confirmed that San Martin was found dead at his home by police on Thursday.

Cause of death of Francisco San Martin
No official cause of death has been released, but the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office told the Hollywood Los Angeles News that San Martin appears to have committed suicide (via The New York Post).
The method by which he allegedly did so remains unclear.
Francisco first appeared on The days of our lives in 2011.
Over the course of a six-month character arc, his character – who was initially thought to be a thief – was revealed to be an investigator.
After his passage on Days ended, San Martin appeared in several episodes of Joan the Virgin And The Bold and the Beautiful.
Francisco also had a role in Steven Soderbergh's acclaimed film Behind the candelabrawith Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
Many friends and co-stars have already taken to social media to pay tribute to San Martin.

Born in Mallorca, Spain, but raised in Montana, Francisco began his acting career in children's theater.
After working as a model as a teenager, he charmed millions of fans during his years as a television star.
