“The support that we were able to give each other, the support for each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and thoughtfulness,” she said in a July 2024 episode of Today When asked how they managed their relationship, “it's been really wonderful.”

And although she said “all her friends advised her” to wait until Majors' trial was over to start a relationship, the Shazam! the actress chose to follow her heart.

“One thing I know is that I can always look at myself in the mirror when I trust my mind, when I trust God, when I ask God and when I move to the beat of my own drum, I can always look back and say, 'OK, I'm proud of that,'” she added. “No matter what happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”

Although Good says she always considers the opinions of those close to her, “at the end of the day, I'm the one who has to live my life and I'm the one who has to go to heaven one day, in prayer, and give back account to God for what I have done.

“I want to be responsible for the choices I make,” she continued. “I also want to live the life I want to live.”
