Nina Dobrev Celebrates First Christmas with Sean White in 'Bridesmaids'

Nina Dobrev and her fiance Sean Whitespent their first Christmas together as an engaged couple, and the actress gave fans a glimpse of their fun holiday moments.

Taking to her Instagram page, Dobrev shared photos and videos of her time at what appears to be a mountain resort.

Sean White proposed to Nina Dobrev at a popular restaurant after tricking the actress into going to a Vogue dinner with fashion icon Anna Wintour.

Dobrev and White are definitely on top of the world, as the pair were all smiles in photos and videos shared by The Vampire Diaries star to celebrate their first Christmas together as an engaged couple.

The actress shared the photos and videos with her nearly 30 million Instagram followers, captioning the post “first Christmas as brides”.

In the first shot of the photo dump, White is seen smiling at the camera in hand, taking a selfie with Dobrev, who is smiling at him.

The couple appeared to be on holiday at a snowy mountain resort with family members, as another photo shows Dobrev snuggling up with two smiling children.

White and Dobrev were also pictured in the light video posing in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and playing with a dog in the snow.

In the comments section of the actress' post, Dobrev and White received season's greetings from fans who were delighted to see a holiday photo dump of the newly engaged couple.

One person said: “Nina, you don't know how happy I am for you! You finally found yours.”

Another said: “They're made for each other,” while a third noted: “Aging backwards! The best couple.”

However, some fans were more interested in Dobrev's engagement ring, which stole the spotlight in the photos from the photo dump.

“Girl how come you don't have a panic attack riding that rock (?)” asked one fan.

Another commented: “All I see is a rock and it sends me off every time.”

The couple's holiday outing comes nearly two months after White proposed to Dobrev at the Golden Swan restaurant.

In an interview with VogueDobrev revealed that the engagement was a surprise. She had come to the restaurant thinking she would have an intimate CFDA/Vogue dinner with Anna Wintour.

However, when she entered the place where the dinner was scheduled, she found Balta standing under an arch of roses.

“I was in shock. I just froze and looked at him,” Dobrev said of the experience, adding that she repeatedly said “No” because she couldn't believe White was going to pop the question.

White and Dobrev began dating in 2019 after meeting at an event in Florida. The following year, they moved in together and made their relationship official on Instagram.

Before the snowboarder's proposal, he had tried to pop the question twice, but unexpected situations derailed each.

The first was the previous November when they were on a trip to Cape Town, South Africa. However, when their friends asked when they would get engaged, White thought it best to postpone the proposal.

White also wanted to propose to Dobrev during summer break this year, but abandoned the plan after the actress unexpectedly broke her knee while riding a bicycle.

While chatting with Us WeeklyWhite opened up about her romance with Dobrev and how they kept the fire burning in their long-distance relationship.

“We have a nice system of keeping in touch,” he said in 2021. “The plane tickets are pretty much booked for any chance we can see each other.”

The skateboarder continued: “So I know we'll see each other over the holiday break and we'll see each other again probably around Christmas. Anything that happens in between I'll fly over and see. you just make it work.”

White added, “I think that's the point of everything, and the main thing is to have time for it all. (Nina) is very organized and on top of that, so I give it to her. She always finds a way to make it happen. “
