It's not such a fun holiday season Jenelle Brownwho lost her son this year!

Jenelle Brown's son Garrison Brown, whom she shared with her ex-husband Cody Brown, died by suicide at the age of 25 in March.

The reality star posted an emotional post on her Instagram handle as the 12th month of the year began. “First of the 'big' holidays without you honey. We all gathered in NC to celebrate together and held your photo by our side,” the mom of six began.

She noted that they laughed at Garrison's “sense of humor and told so many stories” about his life and times.

“We ate, played games and enjoyed each other's company. Now everyone is going home and tomorrow life will be back to normal. But I feel you are close,” the mother of six admitted in the closing paragraph.

Fans instantly took to her comments section to share stories of their grief and how they overcame their pain. This commenter wrote:

“It's my first thanksgiving day and Christmas without my son WHO adopted on 11.03.24. I can honestly say I know what you're going through.”

Another user recalled that last week he lost his “mom 20 years ago and my brother 2 years ago… Every holiday is hard. I miss them both and my thoughts go out to you and your family during this time.”

“Garrison was a beautiful young man. I loved his fire. I lost my son Kyle in 2017. I wish I could say the pain goes away but you just learn to live with the scars. Hugs from one mom to another,” this fan wrote. as they encouraged Jenelle to cheer.

One “devastated” user asked to be drained from Jenelle's fountain of “strength and hope” when their husband died on Thanksgiving morning.

“Christmas is hard hun. But you have such inner strength. He is not gone. Think of the Christmas he will have!! The best with our God!!!” another commenter stated under the post.

Another follower also shared a similar story, noting that they lost their stepson “at Christmas last year,” noting that it would be their first holiday without him.

“I'm just going to have to embrace this pain because it's never going to go away, it's always going to be there. There's always going to be a garrison-sized hole. It's hard,” Christine admitted.

Since the tragic incident, which Christine described as “the hardest thing ever,” her tears have offered a small measure of comfort, filling the void left by Garrison.

News of Garrison's death quickly spread to the media, prompting Cody and Jenelle to release a joint notification as confirmation.

A post shared on their respective social media accounts read: “Cody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown.”

The TLC star described the late reality star as a “bright spot in the lives of all who knew him,” admitting that “his loss will leave such a gaping hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.”

Cody and Jenelle urged the public to respect their privacy as they deal with the shocking loss of their 25-year-old son.

Although the Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed in an autopsy that Garrison died of a gunshot wound to the head, another factor played a role up to that point.

According to postmortem results, the tragic death of the 25-year-old was caused by ethanol intoxication, also known as alcohol poisoning. Reports from his blood test confirmed that his alcohol level was 0.307% based on his hip blood test and 0.370% based on his vitreous test.

The numbers reported in the reviews exceed the US legal limit of 0.08%, while anything above 0.40% is considered potentially fatal. Traces of caffeine were also found in Garrison's system at the time of his death.
