It's something the mother of two recently practiced during her #3for31 challenge, which encouraged her followers to do at least 30 minutes of movement or three miles of cardio every day in December.
“Originally when I created #3for31 it was a running challenge,” Robin explained. “But I recognize that not everyone wants to run every day in December, so 30 minutes a day is what a lot of people commit to.”
Because the holiday season is a busy time for everyone, even this seasoned athlete planned to sport snacks during the most festive time of the year.
“I’m already planning,” she revealed. “I'll probably do burpees before (the family) wakes up to spend a few minutes there. After they open the presents, I'll do maybe ten minutes of Pilates. So it's about figuring out the little pockets where you're calling for it.
It also signals to those close to you that you take your fitness seriously.
“And also express to my family members and your loved ones that this is important to me,” she added. “I’ll be better for you if I take care of myself.”
