Allie Luber and James Kennedy have officially announced it's calling it quits, just months after Vanderpump Rules alum was arrested in a shocking domestic violence incident that made headlines.

on January 22, Ally29 years old, addressed the divorce in a statement about him Instagram story, revealing the night of the incident and confirming their divorce. The Burbank City Attorney's Office eventually dropped the charges JamesAged 32, following an alleged row involving his drinking.

“Thank you all for your support and kindness. I'm glad the prosecutors decided not to file a counter Jamesbecause I never wanted criminal charges,” Ally explained.

“We had an argument outside his house about him drinking again, but I wasn't physically hurt. I was appalled at the headlines and upset at how the event was portrayed.

Ally also clarified that despite the divorce, she will continue to support James on his journey. “We're not together anymore, but I'll always be there for you James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing,” she added. “Thank you for understanding.”

There were reports of Ally removing more of his belongings after the incident, further confirming the end of their relationship. in december James had released his statement about the legal drama, assuring his followers that he was focused on making positive changes in his life.

“I'm taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being there for my loved ones,” he wrote on Dec. 17.

“It's not easy to navigate difficult times, but I'm determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system I have around me.”

Vanderpump Rules will return to Well done its 12th season with an all-new cast later this year.
